I had not heard of Gulmarg before. So I was glad to see this post. The first view with snow covered mountains in the back was captivating. But I may want to visit in the late spring when there is warmer weather. The view from the cable car must be stunning!

Gulmarg has been in my bucket list since a very long time. My trip to Kashmir has been cancelled twice due to political unrest. Your blog on Gulmarg is very informative and detailed and makes me want to pack my bags. I am glad to know that Gulmarg can be visited as a day trip. I love snow but I would rather like to visit in summer to see flowers blossom. Thanks for the detailed info.
