There are many popular tourist attractions in Bali, which are much common and visited by almost all tourists. But the following 10 photos are some of my own choices, and some are bit offbeat, and I found interesting to explore.

  1. Gateway To Heaven at Lempuyang Luhur Temple

Pura Lempuyang Luhur or Lempuyang Luhur Temple is located in Karangasem which is part of East Bali. The main entrance of this temple is known as Gateway To Heaven. The entire landscape looks very picturesque from this temple gate. But the most scenic view is possible to enjoy from the top of the temple if you can climb more than 1700 steep steps.

Any traveler should not miss at least one unique Balinese dance or music performance in Bali. During sunset hour daily at Uluwatu Temple this dance performance performed by Balinese artists. A chorus of about 70 men performed Kecak dance without any musical instruments. They keep on chanting ‘Kecak Kecak’ and others tell some parts of the story of Ramayana through dance. Uluwatu temple is located in South Bali, from this temple, the beauty of the Indian Ocean is amazing and very scenic as well.

I found Padang Padang beach in South Bali is quite different than other beaches. This beach seems like a private beach. One will love the mountainous view with many rocks and pristine blue water. Many Hindu priests were offering prayers while singing Balinese music. I loved the total atmosphere of this beach. Padang Padang beach became famous for the Hollywood movie ‘Eat Pray Love’ which released in 2010.
